That’s it; when I listen to economic speech my mind often wanders into the cold pee, or to the art museum.

When our economic predictions pan out we make copious references to the data-driven analysis that led to our forecast. When they don’t materialize we refer to the artistic components…which is why economic forecasts occupy an outsized portion of the exhibits in most art museums.

Laws of thermodynamics:
1st law: You can’t win
2nd law: You can’t even break even
3rd law: There’s no way to quit the game
4th law: Things get worse under pressure

You are quite a card Jeff! It’s refreshing to meet an economist who doesn’t take himself or his craft too seriously. Surely you can find some economic humor in what’s happening now! Lay it on me.
